About Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJGSU)
Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJGSU) is a public university located in Hangzhou, which is the capital city of Zhejiang Province and borders Shanghai in the east of China. The University has a student population of over 21,000 and offers forty-five bachelor degree programs, thirty-seven master degree programs and three doctor degree programs in the fields of economics, administration, science, engineering, law, literature and arts.

Requirements of application:
1.The applicant should be above 18 years old,in healthy condition
2.High school diploma is required to apply for undergraduate courses
Bachelor’s degree is required to apply for graduate courses
Doctor’s degree is required to apply for Master courses
3.HSK 3 or above (the Chinese language level) is required
Application materials:
1.Entrance application form of ZJGSU international students —degree courses
2.Corresponding diploma(undergraduates should provide pre-graduate certificate) and corresponding courses credit form
3.HSK certificate
4.Personal resume
5.Bank Certificate of Deposit of applicant or his/her guardian(recognizor)
6.One copy of passport and three passport photos
7.Two recommendation letters are required for master's degree and doctor’s degree applicants ( three recommendation letters are required for employed applicants )
8.Application fee: remittance slip of 200RMB
Fee criterion:
1.Fee for undergraduate : liberal arts : 15000RMB per year ; science : 18000RMBper year (both including insurance)
2.Fee for master’s degree : 22000RMB per year(including insurance)
3.Fee for doctor’s degree :24000RMB per year
4.Fee for textbooks : according to the exact textbook fee
5.Fee for dormitory : 2400 RMB per year
Chinese Language Courses
Long-term Chinese Language Course
This course plans to recruit non-native Chinese language international students or overseas Chinese for one semester or above . The courses have been divided into primary, intermediate, advanced . According to the actual situation , each class will be divided according to their different levels.There are compulsory courses and selected courses . 17 weeks in each semester ,and 20 class hours per week . The application time is not limited.
Short-term Chinese Language Course
This class plans to accept the applicantion from the group of more than 10 people for short-term study in Chinese language and Chinese culture and set a separate class for one group. The purpose of this course is mainly for Chinese language , along with some characteristic courses ,such as Chinese culture,Chinese business,Chinese calligraphy,traditional Chinese painting,chinese knot,paper-cut,martial arts,shadow boxing and so on. The applicant can choose whatever characteristic courses they want , and can be shown them around the local and some scenic points. The fee allows to be discussed based on the number of applicant,the application of courses and the plan of travel. Fee criterion:according to the actual schedule.
Chinese Language Strengthen Course
This class focuses on the enhancing students’ Chinese language level quickly,none division,to meet the language requirement of cecuitment for the undergraduate,graduate and doctor with creative teaching style and service. And the class will be given together for all the students . there are 17 weeks , 20 class hours per week . The application time is not limited.
Business Chinese Course
According to the Chinese dometic condition , this class offers characteristic and essential courses for the international businessmen. The course mainly teaches students how to use Chinese in business activities and the regular expression and related knowledge of writing to make students grip corresponding business vocabulary, charactertics of negotiation and some skills of writing. Students also can gain the knowledge of the current condition and rule of Chinese economic, the environment of Chinese investment and policy in order to reinforce the Chinese composite ability and multi-communication ability. At the same time , the international students can make use of this class to prepare for the study for master degree courses of the economic or financial . there are 17 weeks , 20 class hours per week . The application time is not limited.
China and Chinese Business Course
The china and Chinese business courses are designed for the overseas business undergraduates,students of MBA and businessmen. The duration is also under discussed, several weeks or one semester. The class is taught in English completely. The purpose of this class is to know well about Chinese economic ,culture,social development,international trade policy,act of trade,business environment and Chinese enterprise culture and so on . The courses include:Chinese social and culture,Chinese contemporary economic and trade,Chinese trade practice,principles of oriental management,fieldwork survey. The group of more than 10 students can demand changing course setting .
