Application Process

 
 
  • 1. Fill out the online application.

  • 2. Upon receiving your complete online application, UCE assistant will contact you by phone within 1~2 days to confirm your program, starting date and other information. A brief telephone interview will be scheduled after we review your applicantion if necessary.

  • 3. Successful applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the program via email titled "Acceptance Letter". In order for us to continue with placement efforts on your behalf, payment in full must be made within 10 days of acceptance notification, advantages of which includes getting assurance of placement earliest as possible and wider choices of school locations. Once your program fee is received, UCE will send you program materials and your account for UCE online Chinese study program.

  • 4. Please mail us the following items together with your payment: A) two passport size photographs with your name printed in ink on the back.(Prepare one more passport-size photo for visa application later.) B) Signed and notarized contract;

  • 5. Please email the following items as attachment to uschinaedu@hotmail.com: A) A word document of "Preference Form"; B) A word document of your current resume; C) Copy of your diploma (If you have one). Scan it and email to us; D) Copy of your passport(first page). Scan it and email to us. Additional materials such as health certificate might be required for Teach in China program, but not necessary for TESL program.

  • 6. Applicants who are successfully matched with a location and host institution will be notified of placement detail as soon as possible. UCE will abtain all necessary paper work from host instituition and local authorities for your visa application. We can help you deliver your visa application to Consulate-General of China at no additional cost to program fee, which saves your precious time and energy to drive to the Consulate General in person.   • 7. Participants arrived in China on a scheduled date will be met by UCE or UCE partner staff. Free transportation is offered. Please visit different programs page for detail.
